Maurice Godwin’s first day in Ocilla was March 10, 2006. Tara’s sister Anita Gattis and her husband Dr. Larry Gattis let Godwin stay in their RV, located at an RV park just outside Ocilla. The two met Maurice at the RV that morning and gave him the key to Tara’s house, so he could come and go as he pleased.
